TROY RENY

Troy Reny starting training in the martial arts when he was age 6. He is a very dedicated student at Huard's Martial Arts in Winslow, Maine. He is currently a 2nd degree brown belt in shotokan karate as well as Ju-Jitsu.

Troy is also on the Huard's Sport Karate Team and travels to tournaments all over the New England Region as well as Canada. He enjoys competing and the intense training of the martial arts. Troy recently captured two divisional titles at the State of Maine Karate Championships on Jan 8, 2005. First place in forms and first place in fighting in the boys advanced 10-12 division. He has over 60 awards from events he has competed in.

Troy appeared on the cover of the State of Maine Martial Arts Magazine for his awesome first place title at the Pine Tree State Karate Championships and also on the channel 5 news and several other newspaper publications throughout the years.

Troy is very talented in Ju-jitsu. He competes in grappling events during the year as well.

He is helping teach the Little Tigers and Dragons at the school with his Sensei Mark Huard and they just love him.

Troy works really hard and plans to continue improving his skills in the martial arts. He is also now starting to get involved with acting and television and hopes to work his way to the big screens someday.

Troy's training in the martial arts has helped him in a major way for his future with auditioning and television. His martial arts training made him able to speak with confidence. He has been trained to look adults in the eye when talking to them. His physical abilities have come from all his training in karate. Not only has it helped him with acting it also has helped him in other sports such as Football and Motocross.
