Congratulations goes out to Brittany Gaska for chosen as the Student to be spotlighted for August 2003

BRITTANY GASKA

Brittany Gaska has been studying martial arts since the age of five years old. Within the first two months of training she was competing inthe FLMA in forms and sparring. The very next year she was competing in FAME. Brittany has been a top champion competitors in FLMA and FAME from 1995 until the present. She captured three consecutive triple crowns in the FLMA fro 1997 to 1999 in sparring, self defense and traditional forms. She became a true Florida state champion in 2002 after competing in the FBBA, FLMA and FAME, the Trilateral circuit.

Brittany has trained under Master Dr Wilfredo Matias and Grandmaster Remy Presas in modern arnis aling with cross training in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. She received permission to train under Master John Gabriel to become a part of the Tai Chi Chuan Tao system. She was also a part of Team Pepsi in the year 2000.

Beyond martial arts Brittany is an honor roll student and loves to compete in basketball, baseball and football. She is our choice for August 2003.
