ASHLEIGH HUNT

Ashleigh Hunt is an outstanding twelve year old second degree Black Belt member of Shihan Tim Thompson’s Ryoshin-Kan Karate School and Dragon Force National Karate Demo Team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Karate Master and Hall of Famer Tim Thompson established both in 1980. She has studied under Sensei Thompson for 6 years and was named the Official “Sensei’s Pet” and number one assistant on 1 August 2002. She is the Key reason why the Sensei’s and the rest of the School’s Spirit are so High! She is a star performer of the Dragon Force Karate Demo Team. Doing fifty plus performances each year at festivals, special events, TV Shows, fundraisers, World and National Championships.

She is one of the First females to ever make the coveted Dragon Force National Team, which competes at National Martial Arts Championships. She was instrumental in helping the Dragon Force win the Demo Team Grand Championships at the World Cup Martial Arts Championships 4 January 2003. She is the partner of Shihan Thompson in the award winning National Team pair forms routine “Dragon Duet.”

She was inducted into the World Black Belt Martial Arts Hall of Fame with the other members on the Dragon Force Team on 2 March 2002. Being awarded with the rest of the Dragon Force Team the 2001 & 2002 “Best National Demo Team of the Year” further honored her.

She was a key factor in the Ryoshin-Kan Karate School winning First Place at the 2000 Strawberry Festival Parade. She is highlighted frequently with the rest of Dragon Force on the TAS Sports TV Show as well as featured in articles in magazines and newspapers.

Sempai Ashleigh Hunt was born in the state of Georgia, U.S.A. and she now lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia where She is a Honor Roll student at the Larkspur Middle School. Ashleigh is a National Champion, Hall of Famer, Assistant Instructor, loyal student and trusted assistant of Shihan Tim Thompson.
