RYAN's
BIO BY RYAN
When I was four years old I remember telling my Mom
that someday I would be as well known and as popular as the
"Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles". Well after starting as a white
belt at the age of four and putting in ten hard years
of training I am now a Second Degree Blackbelt in
Wushu Kung Fu and First in Tae Kwon Do Karate. In 1999 I won my first
Grand Championship in NASKA
(North American Sport Karate) and now in 2002 I am a Three Time World
Champion, 2000,2001 & 2002 (see my TeamAIR page). I now hold a World
Title in the United States, France, Canada and Central America.
By the age of fourteen I have competed in Paris,
Quebec, Guatemala City, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York City, Washington
DC, Orlando, Boston, Phoenix, Knoxville, Nashville, St. Paul just to
name a few. In Paris, in March of 2002, I performed for an audience of
over 25,000 spectators at the famous French Sports complex "The
Bercy".
In July of 2000 I was selected from thousands of
performers to be the "Best of Dance" when I won Ed
McMahon's Next Big Star Contest. This was Mr. McMahon's first
contest. The show is now being hosted by Arsenio Hall and is on NBC.
In October of 2000 I won Jenny Jone's Amazing Kids
That Rock contest and was one of thirteen kids that performed on her
annual kids talent showcase on the WB network. Jenny said she loved
my "HipHop" style of Karate and knew I would be a great actor
someday.
In 2001 I was flown to Hollywood in a days notice by
the GAP Clothing Company to be filmed for a national TV
commercial. I was given a room at the swank "The Mondarin"
hotel on Sunset Blvd., in downtown Hollywood. I was chauffeured and
dined for two days, only to find out later that I didn't fit the look
they needed for the spot. Four months later I made it to final casting
for a international Pepsi Cola commercial. In 2002 I shot
a pilot for ABC called "Go Sick" which started
the roller coaster ride I have been on for 12 months.
I am now with the hottest agency in Hollywood, Osbrink
Talent Agency. Cindy Osbrink is just truly amazing and she makes me
feel like family. In 2002 I also had the honor to be asked by MBST
Entertainment if I would like them to manage my acting career,
which means I am represented by the same awesome folks as Robin
Williams, Billy Crystal, Woody Allen, and many other film greats the
fact that they don't represent kids made it an even bigger honor. A
Big Shout Out to my family at MBST and Osbrink.
Last fall I played a young Ben Stiller in a film with him and Jennifer
Aniston. My TV show PUNK'D for MTV was a huge hit. It was
the highest rated cable show for 14-29 year olds last season. I begin
work on my own show for MTV this fall and I
promise you will love it. Spy Kids 3D which I played the
lead of Arnold was a box office smash. Keep your eyes open for the DVD
release soon. I played the lead in MGM's "Soul Plane"
which will be released Memorial Day 2004. You won't be able to stop
laughing at this one. I have a cameo appearance in "Bad
Santa" which will be released in November 2003. The
director Terry Zwigoff asked me personally to do this funny scene with
Bernie Mac. I have a few more projects I will be working on the next few
months so check the site often for updates.
